The AFC second round of 2022 FIFA World Cup qualification, which also served as the second round of 2023 AFC Asian Cup qualification, was played from 5 September 2019 to 15 June 2021. Format A total of forty teams were drawn into eight groups of five to play home-and-away round-robin matches. The 2021–22 season was the Bashundhara Kings's 9th competitive professional season since its creation in 2013, and 4th consecutive season in Bangladesh Premier League, country's top tier football league. The AFC Cup is an annual continental club football competition organised by the Asian Football Confederation (AFC). The 2018–19 Bangladesh Premier League (also known as TVS Bangladesh Premier League for sponsorship reason) is the 11th season of the Bangladesh Premier League since its establishment in 2007.
