Capistrano De Abreu
João Capistrano Honório de Abreu (1853 in Maranguape – 1927 in Rio de Janeiro) was a Brazilian historian. His works are characterized by a rigorous investigation of the sources and a critical view of the historical process. João Capistrano de Abreu was born in Maranguape, Ceará. Chico Anysio
Chico Anysio (born Francisco Anysio de Oliveira Paula Filho, 12 April 1931 – 23 March 2012) was a Brazilian actor, comedian, writer and composer. Biography Anysio was born in Maranguape, Ceará. He moved with the family to Rio de Janeiro when he was 7 years old, and tried to work on ''Rádio Guanabara''. Since 1968 was joined to Rede Globo, which achieved the status of a star cast that boasted the most famous artists of Brazil. Anysio was one of the most famous Brazilian comedians of all times and is considered the greatest Brazilian comedian ever. He died on 23 March 2012, aged 80, in Samaritano Hospital, Rio de Janeiro, from multiple organ failure. Lupe Gigliotti (1 July 1926 – 19 December 2010) was a Brazilian television, stage, and film actress. Gigliotti was born Maria Paula Viana Lupicina in Maranguape, Ceará, Brazil, on 1 July 1926. She was the sister of Brazilian actor and comedian Chico Anysio and the aunt of actor Marcos Palmeira. She began acting professionally during the 1960s, appearing in 11 films during her career. Gigliotti became famous for her role as Dona Escolástica on the comedic television show, ''Escolinha do Professor Raimundo''. She played Signora Botega in the 1984 American film ''Blame It on Rio''. Gigliotti's last television appearance was on the Globo telenovela, '' Cama de Gato'', as Áurea in early 2010. Roberta Marques (born June 9, 1968) in Maranguape, Ceará, is a Brazilian film director, film producer, screenwriter and visual artist best known for the series Meninas do Benfica and the feature film Rânia. Biography Roberta Marques studied in Paris at the Société Française de Photographie (1987) and at Sorbonne Université (1991). She holds a Bachelor's degree in Audiovisual from the Gerrit Rietveld Academie (1997) and a Masters degree in Performing Arts froDAS Theater(2005) both in Amsterdam.
