Chico Anysio
Chico Anysio (born Francisco Anysio de Oliveira Paula Filho, 12 April 1931 – 23 March 2012) was a Brazilian actor, comedian, writer and composer. Biography Anysio was born in Maranguape, Ceará. He moved with the family to Rio de Janeiro when he was 7 years old, and tried to work on ''Rádio Guanabara''. Since 1968 was joined to Rede Globo, which achieved the status of a star cast that boasted the most famous artists of Brazil. Anysio was one of the most famous Brazilian comedians of all times and is considered the greatest Brazilian comedian ever. He died on 23 March 2012, aged 80, in Samaritano Hospital, Rio de Janeiro, from multiple organ failure. Private life He was the brother of actress Lupe Gigliotti, of director Zelito Viana and composer and Radio-producer Elano de Paula and father of actors Lug de Paula, Nizo Neto and DJ Cícero Chaves, born from marriage with Regina Chaves. ''Escolinha do Professor Raimundo'' is a Brazilian comedy TV sketch and later TV show led by Chico Anysio and aired on various comedy shows for over 38 years. There, Anysio played Professor Raimundo, a teacher in charge of an adult education class. It premiered on its own television program on August 4, 1957 and on Rede Globo from 1973 until May 28, 1995. It aired in 1999 as part of the comedy show Zorra Total, remaining until October 2000. Shortly after no longer being broadcast on Globo due to the low audience results, it nevertheless returned to its original and independent format as a television show airing from March 26 to December 28, 2001, when it was aired its last season. As of October 4, 2010, reruns were aired on Viva channel. In 2015, Canal Viva produced, in partnership with Globo, a revival of the old Escolinha, with 7 episodes (2 of which were only broadcast by Globo). Os Trapalhões () was a Brazilian comedy group and a television series of the same name created by Wilton Franco. Its members were Dedé (Dedé Santana), Zacarias ( Zacarias Gonçalves), Mussum ( Carlinhos Mussum) and their leader Didi Mocó (Renato Aragão). The name ''Os Trapalhões'' (which can be translated as ''The Bumbling Ones'') is derived from the Portuguese verb ''atrapalhar'', which means the opposite of ''helping'', ''to do something the wrong way'' or ''to Those that confuse''. The name is translated "Tramps" in English DVD subtitles. It was originally aired by Rede Globo from 1977 to 1995.
