Mannai Thottu Kumbidanum
''Mannai Thottu Kumbidanum'' is a 1995 Tamil language drama film directed by R. Umashankar, who had previously directed the film ''Thambi Oorukku Pudhusu'' (1991). The film stars Selva and Keerthana, with Rajesh, Rocky, Goundamani, Senthil, Vadivukkarasi and Kamala Kamesh playing supporting roles. It was released on 16 December 1995. Plot Sathyamoorthy is a kind-hearted village chief who helps the poor villagers whereas Nallathambi is a heartless rich landlord who spreads terror among the villagers. His son Ramachandran and Rasathi fall in love with each other. When Sathyamoorthy becomes paralyzed, Ramachandran becomes the new village chief. In the meantime, Nallathambi wants to destroy Sathyamoorthy's family. What transpires next forms the rest of the story. Selva (actor)
Selva is an Indian actor who has worked on Tamil-language films in leading and supporting roles. After appearing in several films as a lead actor in the 1990s, he made a comeback in two films directed by Mysskin in the 2010s. Family and early life Selva was born in Lakshmipuram, Theni district of Tamil Nadu in a Tamil family to D. C Varadharajan, a retired police officer and Andal. Malaysia Vasudevan
Vasudevan (15 June 1944 – 20 February 2011), known as Malaysia Vasudevan, was a Malaysian-Indian playback singer and actor in Tamil cinema. Early life Malaysia Vasudevan's parents were from Palakkad. Chattu Nair of Ottappalam and Ammalu of Polpulli, along with their families migrated to British Malaya in search of a livelihood. After a few years, Chattu Nair married Ammalu in an arranged marriage. Vasudevan was born on 15 June 1944 as their eighth and youngest child. Even though he was a Malayali, as was the case with the majority of contemporary South Indian migrants to Malaya then, his surroundings in Malaysia was dominated by the Tamil language and culture.
