The Mandarin Oriental, Macau () is a luxury hotel on Avenida Dr. Sun Yat-sen in Sé, Macau, Special administrative regions of China. The hotel overlooks the Outer Harbour and Nam Van Lake, and is part of the One Central development connected to the MGM Macau and immediately to the south of the Wynn Macau. The Mandarin Oriental has 213 rooms and is managed by Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group. The hotel opened on 29 June 2010. Despite being in Macau, the property does not have a casino so as to differentiate itself and provide a non-gaming alternative to guests and is the only non-gaming five-star hotel in Macau. Sé is a southeast Freguesia (Macau), civil parish ( pt, freguesia) in the Macau Peninsula of Macau. It is the second largest peninsular district in Macau after the civil parish of Freguesia de Nossa Senhora de Fátima (Macau), Nossa Senhora de Fátima. The Nam Van Lake (; pt, Lago Nam Van) is a man-made lake in Sé, Macau, Sé, Macau, China. It is one of two man made lakes in Macau. It is located at the southern end of Macau Peninsula. The lake was once part of a bay (Praia Grande (Macau), Praia Grande Bay), created when the causeway (Avenida Dr Sun Yat Sen) partially closed off the bay. One Central () in Sé, Macau is a waterfront mixed-used project developed by Hongkong Land and Shun Tak Holdings and completed in 2009.
