Mamadi Sangare
Mamadi Sangare ( uk, Мамаді Сангаре; born 4 December 1982) is a retired Guinean-Ukrainian footballer who played as a defender. Sangaré last played for FC Avanhard Kramatorsk. He is better known for playing in CSKA Kyiv and being the first one outside the post Soviet territory to accept the Ukrainian citizenship. Career Born in Conakry, Sangaré began in his homeland Guinea with AS Kaloum Star and signed 2001 with the Premier-Liha club FC Arsenal Kyiv at that time known as CSKA Kyiv (until December 2001). Sangare, however, at first was placed to play for the Army's second team playing in the Persha Liha. Upon the reorganization of CSKA in December 2001 he stayed with the Army club playing in the second division rather than the newly created city's club of Arsenal. Ukrainian Cup
The Ukrainian Cup ( uk, Кубок України) is an association football national knockout cup competition run by the Ukrainian Association of Football. The competition is conducted almost exclusively among professional clubs. Since the 2003–04 season, the Cup winner qualifies to play the Ukrainian Premier League winner for the Ukrainian Super Cup. Current format The format of this competition consists of two stages: a qualification stage with two rounds followed by the main event (four rounds and the final game). The competition involves all professional clubs plus the two finalists of the Ukrainian Amateur Cup (since 2011). FC Dniester Ovidiopol
FC Odesa was a professional Ukrainian football club based in Odesa. The club plays in blue-white colors. The club originally was called Dnister and played in Ovidiopol but after the 2010–11 season the club moved to Odesa. History The first football team in Ovidiopol was established in 1947. There was an amateur team, called "Dzerzhinets", which played in the local competitions of the Odesa Oblast and Ukraine. Amateur Ovidiopol team became Odesa Oblast champions in 1980. Borodyanka
Borodianka ( uk, Бородянка, ) is an urban-type settlement in Bucha Raion of Kyiv Oblast (province) of Ukraine. It hosts the administration of Borodianka settlement hromada, one of the hromadas of Ukraine. Population: . According to the 2001 census, population was 12,535. FC Dnipro-2 () was the reserve team of FC Dnipro. History The club initially competed in the Dnipropetrovsk Oblast competition as FC Dnipro-2 Dnipropetrovsk . Football Club Dnipro ( uk, Футбо́льний Клуб «Дніпро́», ) was a Ukrainian football club based in Dnipro. The club was owned by the Privat Group that also owns BC Dnipro and Budivelnyk Kyiv. In 2018 FC Dnipro was forced into bankruptcy by FIFA due to multiple legal claims for failing to pay its promised monetary compensation to players and managers. During the Soviet era, the club was a member of the Soviet Volunteer Sports Society "Metallurg" (therefore it carried names Metallurg/Metalurh and Stal) and until 1961 was under sponsorship of the Petrovsky Dnipropetrovsk Metallurgical Plant.
