Borodianka ( uk, Бородянка, ) is an urban-type settlement in Bucha Raion of Kyiv Oblast (province) of Ukraine. The town is located on the Zdvyzh River which is a tributary of the Teteriv River. History The settlement was first mentioned in 1190 with its name recorded as Kozyatici. Borodianka Raion () was a raion (district) in Kyiv Oblast of Ukraine. Its administrative center was the urban-type settlement of Borodianka. Bucha Massacre
The Bucha massacre ( uk, Бучанська різанина, Buchanska rizanyna) was the mass murder of Ukrainian civilians by Russian Armed Forces during the fight for and occupation of the Ukrainian city of Bucha amid the Russian invasion of Ukraine. Photographic and video evidence of the massacre emerged on 1 April 2022 after Russian forces withdrew from the city.
