Majid Salek Mahmoudi
Majid Salek Mahmoudi ( fa, مجید سالکمحمودی; 1953 – May 8, 1986) was an Iranian serial killer, who killed 24 people between 1981 and 1985. Early life Majid was born into a large family in Tabriz. He dropped out of school in the fourth grade due to a lack of interest and poor grades, his father then put him to work at a local market. He later entered military service and during this time his father died. After his death, Majid returned to work at the market, married a teacher, opened a decoration company and worked as a taxi driver. His business was initially successful, though he later filed for bankruptcy. Cause of the murders One of the informants on the Mahmoudi case said that: "Majid was imprisoned for 2 years for a bad check, and after being released from prison, he became aware of a relationship between his wife and his cousin.
