Maia Bouchier
Maia Emily Bouchier ( ; born 5 December 1998) is an English cricketer who currently plays for Hampshire, Southern Vipers, Southern Brave and Melbourne Stars. She plays as a right-handed batter and bowls occasional right-arm medium pace. She has previously played for Middlesex, Auckland and Western Australia. She made her international debut for the England women's cricket team in September 2021. Early life Bouchier was born in Kensington, Greater London. Her mother is Iranian. She attended Rugby School and then Oxford Brookes University. Domestic career County cricket Bouchier made her county debut for Middlesex in 2014, against Warwickshire. The 3/24 she took on her debut remains her List A best bowling. She became a regular in the side from 2016, and had her most successful season for Middlesex in 2018: she was their leading run-scorer in the Championship, with 172 runs at 34.40, and was ever-present as her side won the Twenty20 Cup. The England women's cricket team represents England and Wales in international women's cricket. Since 1998, they have been governed by the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB), having been previously governed by the Women's Cricket Association. 2019 Women's Cricket Super League
The 2019 Women's Cricket Super League, or 2019 Kia Super League for sponsorship reasons, was the fourth and final season of the Women's Cricket Super League (WCSL), the semi-professional women's cricket competition in England and Wales. The competition, run by the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB), consisted of six franchise teams playing in a Twenty20 format. The tournament was scheduled to be replaced by the Women's Hundred and a new regional domestic structure from the next season, although the full implementation of this was delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Women's Cricket Super League
The Women's Cricket Super League (WCSL), known as the Kia Super League (KSL) for sponsorship reasons, was a semi-professional women's Twenty20 cricket competition in England and Wales operated by the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB). The competition featured six franchise teams, partnered with a variety of county teams and boards and universities, and was envisaged as a means to bridge the gap between amateur domestic cricket and the increasingly professional international game. The 2022 Women's Twenty20 Cup, known for sponsorship reasons as the 2022 Vitality Women's County T20, was the 13th edition of the Women's Twenty20 Cup, an English women's cricket Twenty20 domestic competition. It took place in April and May 2022, with 35 teams taking part, organised into eight regional groups. Somerset Women Cricket Team
The Somerset Women cricket team is the women's representative cricket team for the English ceremonial county of Somerset. They play their home games at various grounds across Somerset, most often in Taunton, and are captained by Sophie Luff. 2018 Women's County Championship
The 2018 Women's County One-Day Championship was the 22nd cricket Women's County Championship season. It ran from the beginning of May to the beginning of June and saw 33 county teams and teams representing Scotland, Wales and the Netherlands compete in a series of divisions. Hampshire Women won the County Championship as winners of the top division with Yorkshire finishing runners-up.
