"Magic Power" is a single release by Hey! Say! JUMP. It was released in three different versions: a limited CD+DVD edition 1, a limited CD+DVD edition 2, and a regular CD-only edition. The single will be the theme song for the Japanese dub of the animated movie, ''The Smurfs'', in which members Ryosuke Yamada and Yuri Chinen provided the voices for Clumsy Smurf and Brainy Smurf respectively. This was the group's first single without Morimoto, due to the smoking scandal and suspension. It was certified platinum by the RIAJ. Hey! Say! JUMP (HSJ or JUMP) is an eight-member Japanese boy band under the Japanese talent agency Johnny & Associates. The group is split into two sub-groups: Hey! Say! BEST and Hey! Say! 7. In Japan they sold more than 10 million physical copies. Hey! Say! JUMP originally debuted with ten members, the largest group in Johnny's history. In 2011, Ryutaro Morimoto was indefinitely suspended from the group following an underage smoking scandal. On April 11, 2021, Keito Okamoto announced that he would be leaving the group in order to pursue a career in acting but would be remaining under Johnny & Associates. RIAJ
The is an industry trade group composed of Japanese corporations involved in the music industry. It was founded in 1942 as the Japan Phonogram Record Cultural Association, and adopted its current name in 1969. is a Japanese actor and singer. He was born in Osaka, Japan. He was a past member of many Johnny's Jr. groups such as Top Kids and 7 West. He released his debut CD single in 2009 as part of Yuma Nakayama w/B.I.Shadow and NYC Boys. He both performs both as a solo artist and as part of Johnny's Entertainment special unit, NYC. , is a Japanese singer and actor as well as member of Hey! Say! JUMP. He is under the management of Johnny & Associates. Early life Chinen is the son of Takashi Chinen, a former Japanese gymnast who won a bronze medal in the 1992 Summer Olympics. He is named after Yuri Osawa, an announcer, whose name his mother liked, but is written with different characters; the ''yu'' is a character often used in girl's names ''(侑 Yū)'' and the ''ri'' is taken from Li (李), a surname his mother thought common among Chinese gold medalist gymnasts.
