The Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation Limited (Marathi: महाराष्ट्र राज्यमार्ग विकास महामंडळ मर्यादित), commonly abbreviated as MSRDC, is an Indian public limited company fully owned by the Government of Maharashtra. MSRDC was established on July 9, 1996 and incorporated as a public limited company under the Companies Act 1956 on August 2, 1996. It is responsible for developing, building and maintaining roads in Maharashtra. MSRDC completed its 25th anniversary on 9 July 2021. Versova–Bandra Sea Link
The Versova–Bandra Sea Link (VBSL) is an under construction bridge in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. The bridge will connect Versova, a neighbourhood in the suburb of Andheri to the Bandra–Worli Sea Link in Bandra, as part of the Coastal Road. The 8-lane sea link is expected to reduce congestion on the Western Express Highway and the Western Line of the Mumbai Suburban Railway. History The prefeasibility study for the Versova–Bandra Sea Link (VBSL) was conducted by CES (I) Pvt. Ltd in 2007-2008. The Government of Maharashtra appointed the Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation (MSRDC) as the nodal agency for the project on 19 December 2009. Airoli Bridge
The Airoli Bridge is a bridge in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region of India. It was constructed to establish a direct road link between Mumbai and Navi Mumbai. Structure The Afcons Infrastructure Ltd company of the Shapoorji Pallonji Group constructed the bridge and the project was executed by Vijay Shankar V. The bridge was made from 800 box girders. The 1.03 km bridge marked the development of the Airoli and Thane- Belapur belt. The MSRDC collects tolls on the bridge. The toll rates for small passenger cars is set at ₹40 & for Trucks & Buses s set at ₹130. Geographical significance A road link connecting Thane–Belapur road and Eastern Express Highway has been established by this bridge.
