MC Serch
Michael Berrin (born May 6, 1967), best known by his stage name MC Serch, is an American rapper and music executive. He is a former member of 3rd Bass and Non Phixion. Early life and education Serch grew up in Far Rockaway, Queens, New York City. He attended Far Rockaway High School and graduated from Music & Art High School. He is of Jewish descent. Career After recording three albums with 3rd Bass — ''The Cactus Album'' (1989), '' The Cactus Revisited'' (1990), and ''Derelicts of Dialect'' (1991)—Serch launched a solo career with '' Return of the Product'' (1992, Def Jam). Golden age hip hop is a name given to mainstream hip hop music created from the mid-1980s to early-mid 1990s, particularly by artists and musicians originating from the New York metropolitan area. Bamboozled
''Bamboozled'' is a 2000 American satirical dark comedy-drama film written and directed by Spike Lee about a modern televised minstrel show featuring black actors donning blackface makeup and the resulting violent fallout from the show's success. Wild Pitch Records was an American hip hop record label, started in 1987 by Stuart Fine, that was eventually distributed by EMI.
