Tiffany Lane (born August 16, 1974), better known as Charli Baltimore, is an American rapper and reality television personality. Her stage name is taken from Geena Davis's character in the film ''The Long Kiss Goodnight''. Career Charli Baltimore began her musical career when she met The Notorious B.I.G. in the summer of 1995, and they became involved in a romantic relationship. Several months into their relationship, she left him a voicemail of a rap verse that she had written and he began encouraging her to pursue a career in rap music. Following the death of B.I.G., Charli continued her career in the industry, booking several modeling jobs and creating a number of hip-hop and R&B songs including "Money", with Gamble and Huff, and "Stand Up", which rose to the top ten of Billboard Magazine's Hot Rap Singles Chart. Chart rankings are based on sales (physical and digital), radio play, and online streaming in the United States. The album was to be her official solo debut album (after the cancellation of her other album, '' Cold as Ice''), it was also expected to be Charli's big comeback. "Down Ass Bitch" was the third and final single by American rapper Ja Rule, from his third studio album ''Pain Is Love'' (2001). It features then-labelmate Charli Baltimore. Music video The music video opens with two FBI detectives (played by Eric Roberts and Clarence Williams III) on the hunt for two diamond thieves (Ja Rule and Charli). It then cuts to Ja Rule and Charli ready to steal a diamond in a mansion at night (with Ja Rule rapping outside a car in-between scenes). They successfully found the diamonds hidden in the portrait. ''Cold as Ice'' is the debut album by rapper Charli Baltimore, released promotionally on August 3, 1999 through Epic Records. It was originally titled "To Hell & Back", with a release date of April 28, 1999. The album did not make it to any ''Billboard'' charts since it did not see a public release, but the single "Stand Up" reached #9 on the Hot Rap Singles. Guests on the album include Ghostface Killah, Da Brat, Lady of Rage, Gangsta Boo, Mobb Deep, Cam'ron, N.O.R.E., and producer DJ Premier. Baltimore also recorded a collaboration with former friend Mase titled "Ice," but the song's prominent sample of "Under Pressure" by Queen and David Bowie could not be cleared.
