M102 Railway (Croatia)
The Zagreb Glavni kolodvor–Dugo Selo railway, officially designated the M102 railway, is a railway line in Croatia that connects the Croatian capital city Zagreb with the Dugo Selo. It is part of the Pan-European corridors, Pan-European Corridor V, branch b, which runs from Rijeka to Budapest and the Pan-European Corridor X. Zagreb Glavni Kolodvor
Zagreb Glavni kolodvor ( Croatian for ''Zagreb main station'') is the main railway station in Zagreb, Croatia. Located south of the city's main square, it is the largest station in Croatia and the main hub of the Croatian Railways network. History An 1890 act of the Royal Hungarian Government authorised the building of the main station and maintenance shop in Zagreb. Construction of the long neoclassical style station building began in 1891 and was overseen by Hungarian architect Ferenc Pfaff. Sculptural works were undertaken by the Hungarian sculptor Vilim Marschenko. The station opened on 1 July 1892. It is one of the largest public buildings built in 19th century Zagreb. Reconstruction works were undertaken in 1986–87 (just before the 1987 Summer Universiade) and again in 2006. M201 Railway (Croatia)
The state border–Botovo–Koprivnica–Dugo Selo railway, officially designated the M201 railway, is a railway line in Croatia that connects the Croatian city of Dugo Selo, situated east of national capital Zagreb, with the Hungary, Hungarian rail network. It is part of the Pan-European Corridors, Pan-European Corridor V, branch b, which runs from Rijeka to Budapest. The line is fully electrified and mostly single-tracked. In Dugo Selo, the southern terminus of the railway, the line connects to the M102 railway (Croatia), M102 line to Zagreb and the M103 railway (Croatia), M103 to Novska and Belgrade. Further junctions exist in Križevci, Croatia, Križevci and Koprivnica, to railways L204 railway (Croatia), L204 and R202 railway (Croatia), R202 respectively. It is published by the eponymous public company. The Narodne novine started as the ''Novine Horvatzke'', first published on January 6, 1835, by Ljudevit Gaj, who created and printed the paper. The first usage of the term "Narodne novine" was in 1843, but the paper changed several names over the years, usually according to the name of the state that Croatia was part of.
