Mäki-Matti
Mäki-Matti is a district and a statistical area of Jyväskylä, Finland and a part of the Kantakaupunki ward. The statistical area contains the Nousukatu, Hippos, Rautpohja, Kyllö and Syrjälä subareas. Mäki-Matti has several services such as schools, a convenience store, a pub and a R-Kioski shop. The oldest family park of Finland is also located in the district. Mäki-Matti is the first suburb of Jyväskylä to be merged into the city, which was done in 1914. History Mäki-Matti is named after a tenant farmer named Matti Matinpoika (fl. 1806-1865), whose tenure farm was split from the Syrjälä/Taavettila farm. A hill in the area was given the name ''Mäki-Matin mäki'' after Matti and his home. Eventually the name was given to the community that had developed in the area. Osuuskauppa Mäki-Matti was founded in 1905. It was one of the first cooperative shops in Finland. Mäki-Matti was transferred from Jyväskylän maalaiskunta to Jyväskylä in 1908. Gallery File ... Kantakaupunki is a ward of Jyväskylä, Finland. Over 25.000 people live in Kantakaupunki. Provinces Of Finland
Between 1634 and 2009, Finland was administered as several provinces ( fi, Suomen läänit, sv, Finlands län). Finland had always been a unitary state: the provincial authorities were part of the central government's executive branch and apart from Åland, the provinces had little autonomy. There were never any elected provincial parliaments in continental Finland. The system was initially created in 1634. Its makeup was changed drastically on 1 September 1997, when the number of the provinces was reduced from twelve to six. This effectively made them purely administrative units, as linguistic and cultural boundaries no longer followed the borders of the provinces. The provinces were eventually abolished at the end of 2009. Consequently, different ministries may subdivide their areal organization differently. Aleksi Lehikoinen (born November 22, 1993), better known by his stage name Gettomasa, is a Finnish rapper. He won the Finnish battle rap championship in 2012. Jyväskylän maalaiskunta ( sv, Jyväskylä landskommun), 'The Rural Municipality of Jyväskylä' is a List of former municipalities of Finland, former municipality of Finland. Together with Korpilahti, Jyväskylän maalaiskunta was consolidated with Jyväskylä on 1 January 2009. It was the last municipality to carry the name maalaiskunta. A consumers' co-operative is an enterprise owned by consumers and managed democratically and that aims at fulfilling the needs and aspirations of its members. Eastern European Summer Time (EEST) is one of the names of the UTC+03:00 time zone, which is 3 hours ahead of Coordinated Universal Time. It is used as a summer daylight saving time in some European and Middle Eastern countries, which makes it the same as Arabia Standard Time, East Africa Time, and Moscow Time. Finland is divided into 19 regions ( fi, maakunta; sv, landskap)., smn, eennâmkodde, and sms, mäddkåʹdd. The regions are governed by regional councils that serve as forums of cooperation for the Municipalities of Finland, municipalities of each region.
