Mädchen (German for ''girl'') was the first studio album of the German rock/pop duo Lucilectric. The album spawned a namesake single that spent 12 weeks in the German Top 10, eventually reaching number two. Another single, ''Hey Süßer'' (''hey sweetheart''), reached number one in the Austrian charts. The album and both singles also charted in the Swiss and Dutch markets. Lucilectric
Lucilectric was a German pop/rock duo founded in 1993 by Luci van Org and producer Ralf Goldkind. They are known primarily for their 1994 hit single ''Mädchen'' (''Girl''), which spent 12 weeks in the German Top 10, eventually reaching number two. The single also charted in the Swiss, Austrian and Dutch markets. ''Hey Süßer'' (''Hey sweetheart''), another of single from the same album, also reached the Top 40 in 1994. Lucilectric would go on to record two more albums and eventually separated in 1999. History Lucilectric was created in Berlin in 1993 by van Org and Goldkind, arguably as part of the revival of the German language rock/pop movement in the early 90s, which came on the heels of the Neue Deutsche Welle but well before the Neue Deutsche Härte emerged from the underground. The NeverEnding Story III
''The NeverEnding Story III: Escape from Fantasia'' (also known as: ''The NeverEnding Story III: Return to Fantasia'') is a 1994 fantasy-adventure film. It is the third and final film in the franchise. It stars Jason James Richter as Bastian Balthazar Bux, and Jack Black in an early role as school bully Slip. This film primarily used the characters from Michael Ende's novel ''The Neverending Story'' (1979), with the exception of Atreyu, who is absent from the film, and introduced a new storyline. It was an international co-production between the United States and Germany. The special creature effects were provided by Jim Henson's Creature Shop. Plot In a prologue, the Old Man of Wandering Mountain reads from a large book, begins to record a prophecy of a day when "The Nasty" will arrive in Fantasia, and describes the savior of "Extraordinary Courage". ECHO (music Award)
Echo Music Prize (stylised as ECHO, ) was an accolade by the , an association of recording companies of Germany to recognize outstanding achievement in the music industry. The first ECHO Awards ceremony was held in 1992, and it was set up to honor musical accomplishments by performers for the year 1991, succeeding the Deutscher Schallplattenpreis, which was awarded since 1963. Each year's winner was determined by the previous year's sales. In April 2018, following controversy regarding that year's ceremony, the Bundesverband Musikindustrie announced the end of the award. The compact disc (CD) is a Digital media, digital optical disc data storage format that was co-developed by Philips and Sony to store and play digital audio recordings. In August 1982, the first compact disc was manufactured. It was then released in October 1982 in Japan and branded as ''Compact Disc Digital Audio, Digital Audio Compact Disc''.
