Máximo González Mereira (; born July 20, 1983, in Tandil) is an Argentine professional tennis player. His career-high singles ranking is World No. 58, achieved in July 2009 and his career-high doubles ranking is World No. 22 achieved on 22 April 2019. Career Singles Early career through 2006 In singles play, González won two Futures events in the second half of 2004. He won four more Futures events in 2005 before finally finding success on the Challenger circuit with two consecutive semi-final appearances and a quarterfinal, improving his ranking to No. 206 in November 2005. 2007: ATP singles debut, Challenger circuit success His success waned in early 2007, and by the end of July, his ranking had slipped out of the 250 to No. 267 in singles, despite qualifying in late July for his first ATP-level event, and then again a second time the following week. 2021 US Open – Mixed Doubles
Desirae Krawczyk and Joe Salisbury defeated Giuliana Olmos and Marcelo Arévalo in the final, 7–5, 6–2 to win the mixed doubles tennis title at the 2021 US Open. By winning the title, Krawczyk and Salisbury received their third and second major mixed doubles title, respectively. The Chile Open (also known as the Chile Dove Men+Care Open for sponsorship reasons) is a professional men's tennis tournament played on outdoor red clay courts in Santiago, Chile. In its history it was held alternately in Viña del Mar city and in 2010, Colina. It is part of the ATP Tour 250 of the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) Tour and part of the four-tournament Golden Swing. History In 1992, Brazil suspended its three ATP tournaments. When the ATP resolved to keep these tournaments in Latin America, brothers Jaime and Álvaro Fillol decided to buy the organizing rights to hold one of these events in Chile. Leander Adrian Paes ( ; born 17 June 1973) is an Indian former professional tennis player. He is regarded as one of the greatest doubles tennis players ever. He holds the record for the most doubles wins in the Davis Cup. Paes won eight men's doubles and ten mixed doubles Grand Slam titles.
