Máté Ónodi-Jánoskúti
Máté Ónodi-Jánoskúti (born 17 June 2002) is a Hungarian handball player who plays for Ferencvárosi TC and the Hungary national team. Career Club Máté started his career at Csanádi KSI SE. In January 2012, he came to Ferencvárosi TC's youth team, went through the ranks of the age group teams, and played for the first time in the 2018/19 season in an adult Nemzeti Bajnokság I match. He scored 5 goals in 9 games. In the 2021/22 season, he scored 85 goals in the Nemzeti Bajnokság I, making him the third most successful player of Ferencvárosi TC at the age of 19. In the 2022/23 season, he reached fourth place in the league and reached the EHF European League round of 16 with the team. He scored 33 goals in 11 matches in the EHF European League. The European Handball Federation (EHF) is the umbrella organisation for European handball. Founded on 17 November 1991, it is made of 50 member federations and two associated federations (England and Scotland), and is headquartered in Vienna, Austria. 2025 World Men's Handball Championship
The 2025 IHF World Men's Handball Championship was the 29th such event hosted by the International Handball Federation. It was held in Croatia, Denmark and Norway from 14 January to 2 February 2025. This edition marked the first time the world championship was held in three countries. Co-host Denmark were the triple defending champions, having won the 2019, 2021 and 2023 editions, and successfully defended their title by defeating co-host Croatia 32–26 in the final. In doing so, Denmark became the first men's national handball team to win four consecutive world titles. France beat Portugal to win the bronze medals, while third co-host Norway finished 10th. 2024 European Men's Handball Championship
The 2024 EHF European Men's Handball Championship was the 16th edition of the tournament and the third to feature 24 national teams. It was hosted in Germany from 10 to 28 January 2024.
