Mário Silva (footballer)
Mário Fernando Magalhães da Silva (born 24 April 1977; ) is a Portuguese former footballer who played as a left-back, currently a manager. Playing career Silva was born in Porto. Having grown through the ranks of local Boavista F.C. he went on to represent FC Nantes, FC Porto, Recreativo de Huelva and Cádiz CF, returning to Boavista in June 2006 and leaving after two seasons due to unpaid wages, in a litigation that would only be concluded in March 2010. Silva enjoyed his best years while with Porto, playing second fiddle to Nuno Valente on a side that won the 2002–03 UEFA Cup and the following year's UEFA Champions League while also adding back-to-back Primeira Liga titles under José Mourinho. Also at the club, on 27 March 2002, he earned his sole cap for the Portugal national team, appearing in a 1–4 friendly home defeat against Finland. Padroense F
Padroense Futebol Clube is a Portuguese football club that competes in the Portuguese Second Division. They were founded in 1922. History The first field of Padroense F. C. was the "Saibreira" before moving to the "stray field" (what is now High School), to finally go to the Monte da Mina, near the land which today is the Church of the Standard A league. 2003–04 UEFA Champions League
The 2003–04 UEFA Champions League was the 12th season of UEFA's premier European club football tournament, the UEFA Champions League, since its rebranding from the European Cup in 1992, and the 49th tournament overall. The competition was won by Portugal's Porto, who defeated Monaco of France 3–0 at the Arena AufSchalke in Gelsenkirchen, Germany for Portugal's first win since 1987. 2002–03 UEFA Cup
The 2002–03 UEFA Cup was the 32nd edition of the UEFA Cup, the second-tier European club football tournament organised by UEFA. The final was played between Portuguese side Porto and Scottish side Celtic at the Estadio Olímpico de Sevilla, Seville, on 21 May 2003. Nuno Jorge Pereira da Silva Valente (; born 12 September 1974) is a former Portuguese professional footballer who played as a left-back or a winger. He later became a manager. He played professionally in Portugal and England for Sporting, Portimonense, Marítimo, União de Leiria, Porto and Everton. Valente represented Portugal at international level, participating at Euro 2004 (where Portugal became runners-up) and the 2006 World Cup. The 1995 FIFA World Youth Championship, known as the 1995 FIFA/Coca-Cola World Youth Championship for sponsorship purposes, was the 10th edition of the FIFA World Youth Championship. FIFA U-20 World Cup
The FIFA U-20 World Cup is the biennial football world championship tournament for FIFA members’ men's national teams with players under the age of 20. The competition has been staged every two years since the inaugural tournament in 1977 when it was hosted by Tunisia, under the tournament name of FIFA World Youth Championship until 2005. In 2007 the name was changed to its present form. The current title holder is Ukraine which won its first title at the 2019 tournament in Poland.
