Márcia von Goldschmidt-Rothschild, best known as Márcia Goldschmidt (born July 22, 1962) is a Brazilian television presenter, writer, digital influencer, YouTuber and businesswoman. Personal life Goldschmidt-Rothschild was born into a humble family and began working as a nanny at the age of nine. She lived in Paris in the mid-1980s where she worked at an agency helping Brazilian artists who went to work in France. Six years later, she returned to Brazil and married a Swiss, Baron Cyril von Goldschmidt-Rothschild, and had a son. In Brazil, she set up the relationships agency Happy End and she was subsequently invited to present a program on the extinct TV channel Rede Mulher (currently Record News), also titled ''Happy End''. Rede Mulher was a Free-to-air television broadcaster from Brazil founded on August 8, 1994. Though the broadcast was made from the city of Araraquara, in the central region of the state of São Paulo, all of its television productions was produced in the broadcaster's studios in the capital, São Paulo. Since the channel's debut, the IBOPE (measure of channel popularity) has been relatively low. Promising to invest in quality and in the workers, the Universal Church, bought part of the station in 1999 through Edir Macedo. Shortly after the purchase of the broadcaster, Edir Macedo moved the headquarters of Rede Mulher to the old premises of Rede Record, at Miruna Avenue in Moema—unoccupied since the broadcast moved to the Barra Funda neighborhood in 1995. Record News (formerly known as Rede Mulher) is the first 24-hour free-to-air terrestrial news channel in Brazil, and the third Brazilian news channel to be launched after GloboNews and BandNews TV. The Sistema Brasileiro de Televisão (; SBT ; "Brazilian Television System") is a Brazilian television network founded on Wednesday, 19 August 1981, by the businessman and television personality Silvio Santos.
