Karen Marie Aagaard Ørsted Andersen (; born 13 August 1988), known professionally as MØ (), is a Danish singer and songwriter. She signed a recording contract with Sony Music Entertainment in 2012, releasing her debut extended play, ''Bikini Daze'' (2013), and her debut studio album, ''No Mythologies to Follow'' (2014). MØ collaborated with Australian rapper Iggy Azalea on the 2014 single " Beg for It", which peaked at number 27 on the US ''Billboard'' Hot 100, earning MØ her first entry on the chart. The following year, she co-wrote and provided vocals for the Major Lazer and DJ Snake collaboration "Lean On", which became an international success, charting at number one in several countries, number two in the United Kingdom, and number four in the United States. Stavernfestivalen
Stavernfestivalen is a yearly music festival held in Stavern, Norway at Larvik Golf Arena. The festival takes place in July, and in 2019 there were roughly 75 000 attendees over a three-day period. The very first festival took place in 2001, lasting a single day with 175 attendees. In 2002 it expanded to two days, and this lasted until 2011, after which the festival increased to three days. Relocation to the Larvik Golf Arena Up until 2014 the festival was arranged at Skråvika near Minnehallen in Stavern. In 2015 it relocated to the Larvik Golf Arena – a much larger, spacious area where the organizers could focus on further developing and improving the overall experience. "Beg for It" is a song by Australian rapper Iggy Azalea, featuring Danish singer MØ. It was written by Azalea and Charli XCX. The song was released on 24 October 2014 as the lead single from the reissue of Azalea's debut studio album ''The New Classic'' (2014), titled ''Reclassified'' (2014). An initial live preview of the song in September 2014 resulted in widespread media speculation that it featured XCX as the sequel to "Fancy", XCX's previous collaboration with Azalea. However, it was later revealed that XCX wrote the track's hook for MØ, who Azalea discovered on YouTube. ''Motordrome'' is the third album by Danish singer and songwriter MØ, released on 28 January 2022 through Columbia Records. It was announced alongside the release of the singles "Brad Pitt" and "Goosebumps" on 12 November 2021, and also includes the singles "Live to Survive" and "Kindness". MØ was to tour Europe and North America from February 2022 in support of the album. ''Motordrome'' charted only in Denmark, debuting at number nine on the Danish Albums Chart. ''Forever Neverland'' is the second studio album by Danish singer and songwriter MØ. It was released on 19 October 2018 by Columbia Records. It is her first full-length release since her debut studio album ''No Mythologies to Follow'' (2014), and comes after her second EP '' When I Was Young'' (2017). The album was preceded by five singles: "Nostalgia", "Sun in Our Eyes" featuring Diplo, "Way Down", "Imaginary Friend" and "Blur". The album also features collaborations with Charli XCX, What So Not, Two Feet and Empress Of. It was released on 13 May 2016 for her second studio album, ''Forever Neverland'', but was only included on the Japanese release of the album. The song was written and composed by MØ and Noonie Bao alongside MNEK, who produced the song. Snakehips (duo)
Snakehips are a British electronic music duo. The line-up consists of Oliver Lee and James Carter. Snakehips made their name with Hype Machine doing remixes for Banks, The Weeknd, Bondax and Wild Belle. They are best known for their 2015 single, " All My Friends". Early life Oliver Lee was educated at the Skinners' School, in Tunbridge Wells. Oliver Lee started out in music at a young age in the late 2000s, playing a variety of instruments, from keyboard to tambourine, for mariachi bands.
