Mylène Girard
Mylène Girard (born March 16, 1984 in Sorel-Tracy, Quebec) is a Canadian ice dancer. She teamed up with partner Jonathan Pelletier in 2008. She has also competed with Liam Dougherty, Brian Innes and Bradley Yaeger. Career With Innes, she is the 2002 Canadian junior national champion and placed 14th at the 2002 World Junior Championships. In August 2002, she teamed up with Bradley Yaeger. With Yaeger, she competed twice at the Four Continents Championships. They announced the end of their partnership following their withdrawal from the 2006 Cup of Russia. Girard teamed up with Liam Dougherty in 2007. Sorel-Tracy
Sorel-Tracy (; ) is a city in southwestern Quebec, Canada and the geographical end point of the Champlain Valley. It is located at the confluence of the Richelieu River and the St. Lawrence River, on the western edge of Lac Saint-Pierre, downstream and northeast of Montreal. The population as of the Canada 2011 Census was 34,600. Its mayor is Patrick Péloquin and it is the seat of the Pierre-De Saurel Regional County Municipality and the judicial district of Richelieu. The city is the result of a voluntary amalgamation in 2001 between two cities, Sorel and Tracy, which developed on opposite shores of the Richelieu River: Tracy on the west shore (left) and Sorel on the east (right) shore. The 2006 Cup of Russia was the fifth event of six in the 2006–07 ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating, a senior-level international invitational competition series. The Nebelhorn Trophy is an international senior-level figure skating competition organized by the Deutsche Eislauf-Union and held annually in Oberstdorf, Germany. It became part of the ISU Challenger Series in the 2014–15 season. The competition is named after the Nebelhorn, a nearby mountain. It is usually one of the first international senior competitions of the season. Four Continents Championships
The Four Continents Figure Skating Championships (4CC) is an annual figure skating competition. The International Skating Union established it in 1999 to provide skaters representing non-African and non-European countries with a similar competition to the much older European Figure Skating Championships. The event's name refers to North America and South America are both the Americas, Asia and Oceania (four of the continents represented in the Olympic rings, omitting Africa and Europe). Medals are awarded in the disciplines of men's singles, ladies' singles, pairs, and ice dance. The 2002 World Junior Figure Skating Championships was held from March 3 to 10 at the Hamar Olympic Amphitheatre in Hamar, Norway.
