"My Number One" is a song recorded by Greek-Swedish singer Helena Paparizou with music composed by Manolis Psaltakis and Christos Dantis, lyrics written by Dantis and Natalia Germanou, and produced by Dantis. It in the Eurovision Song Contest 2005, held in Kyiv, resulting in the country's only ever victory in the contest. Helena Paparizou
Helena Paparizou (; , ; born 31 January 1962) is a Swedish-born Greek singer, songwriter and television personality. Born and raised in Sweden to Greeks, Greek parents, she enrolled in various arts schools before launching a career in Sweden in 1999 as a member of the laïko (Greek folk music) and Eurodance duo Antique (band), Antique, who participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 2001 and afterwards became popular. Antique disbanded in 2003, and Paparizou signed a solo recording contract with Sony Music Entertainment, Sony Music, releasing the chart-topping debut single "Anapandites Kliseis" and album ''Protereotita'' (2004), with emphasis on laïko, pop music, pop, and dance music, dance sounds, but at first had modest sales. "Nobody Hurt No One" was the entry in the 2005 Eurovision Song Contest, performed in English by Belarusian singer Natalia Podolskaya. It was written by Victor Drobysh, Jussi-Pekka Järvinen, Mary Susan Applegate, and produced by Victor Drobysh and Iosif Prigozhin. The song won Russia's national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest 2005. Boris Novković
Boris Novković (born 25 December 1967) is a Croatian singer-songwriter. He has been active since the 1980s. Biography Novković was born in Sarajevo, SR Bosnia and Herzegovina, SFR Yugoslavia. His interest in a musical career was cultivated by his family background, with mother Ozana who taught music, and father Đorđe who was a leading Croatian songwriter and music manager. He released his first album, ''Kuda idu izgubljene djevojke'' in 1986, selling 120,000 copies, while his follow-up release in 1987, ''Jači od sudbine'', sold 160,000 copies and remained his highest-selling album to date. Croatia participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 2005 with the song "Vukovi umiru sami" written by Franjo Valentić and Boris Novković. ''Protereotita'' ( el, Προτεραιότητα, italic=yes; ''Priority''), is the debut solo album by Greek singer Helena Paparizou, released on 27 June 2004 by Sony Music Greece. The album's first single, Anapandites Kliseis, was released as a CD-single prior to the album's release and reached number 1 on the Greek IFPI singles chart. The album was also re-released twice in Greece, and once internationally as ''My Number One''. Overall, there are five different editions available of the album. The original album was only a mild success, however, following Paparizou's victory in the Eurovision Song Contest the ''Euro Edition'' peaked at number one on the charts and was certified platinum by the IFPI.
