Muthoot Technopolis
Muthoot Technopolis is an information technology park at Kochi, India. It has a built up space of which has been fully occupied by Cognizant, Williams Lea and Sutherland Global Services. It is the Plot #1 in CSEZ Muthoot Pappachan Group is planning on expansion in Kochi with phase II of the project and further developments in the vicinity. Muthoot also runs the Muthoot ceramics which is behind the Muthoot Technolpolis in Cochin Special Economic Zone, though CSEZ area is separated with Technopolis by wall. Kochi (), also known as Cochin ( ) ( the official name until 1996) is a major port city on the Malabar Coast of India bordering the Laccadive Sea, which is a part of the Arabian Sea. Cochin Special Economic Zone
The Cochin Special Economic Zone (CSEZ) is a multi-product special economic zone located at Kochi, Kerala. It is established in an area of in Kakkanad. It is a multi-product zone, with industrial units operating in Electronics Hardware, Engineering, Gem & Jewellery, IT & ITES, Agro & Food Processing, Textile & garments, Plastic & Rubber etc. Currently it has around 160 units operating employing more than 15,000 people. In FY2011-12, the total exports from the zone stood at 29,961 crore, recording a 63% rise in exports compared to the previous financial year.
