Music To Make Boys Cry (song)
"Music to Make Boys Cry" is a song by English singer and songwriter Diana Vickers from her second studio album of the same name (2013). It was released on 15 September 2013 as the album's second and final single. Background On 9 December 2011, Vickers released a promotional demo version of "Music to Make Boys Cry" for free download on her website. Its desire to make you both cry and dance simultaneously is no accident according to Vickers. She explains the concept actually came about because she was on an airplane and saw the phrase "music to make boys cry" in a newspaper article and got really excited and wanted to make a song that had that included. This inspired her to team up with Miranda Cooper and Donkeyboy in a writing session in Norway to co-write the single. Music video The official music video premiered on 5 August 2013 on Vickers' YouTube account. The video clip sees Vickers prepare for a party at her apartment, including baking a cake and laying in a bath of ball ...

Songs Written By Miranda Cooper
A song is a musical composition intended to be performed by the human voice. This is often done at distinct and fixed pitches (melodies) using patterns of sound and silence. Songs contain various forms, such as those including the repetition and variation of sections. Written words created specifically for music, or for which music is specifically created, are called lyrics. If a pre-existing poem is set to composed music in classical music it is an art song. Songs that are sung on repeated pitches without distinct contours and patterns that rise and fall are called chants. Songs composed in a simple style that are learned informally "by ear" are often referred to as folk songs. Songs that are composed for professional singers who sell their recordings or live shows to the mass market are called popular songs. These songs, which have broad appeal, are often composed by professional songwriters, composers, and lyricists. Art songs are composed by trained classical compos ...
