Muriaé is a municipality in southeast Minas Gerais state, Brazil. It is located in the Zona da Mata region and its population in 2020 (IBGE) was approximately 109,392 inhabitants. Miraí
Miraí is a Brazilian municipality located in the state of Minas Gerais. The city belongs to the mesoregion of Zona da Mata and to the microregion of Muriaé. * Main Rivers: ''Fubá'' and ''Muriaé'' History ''Brejo'' was its first name.
