Munkong Sathienthirakul
Munkong "Turbo" Sathienthirakul (born 6 October 1985) is a Thai racing driver currently competing in the TCR Asia Series. Having previously competed in the Thailand Super Series and Thai Touring Car Championship amongst others. Racing career Sathienthirakul began his career in 2000 in karting, he won three titles in karting up until 2002. In 2010 he switched to the Thai Touring Car Championship. He raced in the Thai Honda Civic Cup in 2011, before switching to the Thailand Super Series, he finished the 2014 season 2nd in the championship standings. In October 2015 it was announced that he would race in the TCR Asia Series & TCR International Series, driving a SEAT León Cup Racer for Craft-Bamboo Racing Craft-Bamboo Racing is an auto racing team. The Red Bull Ring is a motorsport race track in Spielberg, Styria, Austria. The race circuit was founded as Österreichring (translation: Austrian Circuit) and hosted the Austrian Grand Prix for 18 consecutive years, from to . DG Sport Compétition is a Belgian auto racing team based in Theux, Belgium. The team has raced in the TCR International Series, since 2017. 2017 TCR International Series
The 2017 TCR International Series was the third and the last season of the TCR International Series. Stefano Comini entered the season as defending double champion, but finished only third in the standings with 30 points behind the new champion Jean-Karl Vernay, who won the title with a race to spare in the Dubai round, and Attila Tassi. Comini and Tassi were separated by only one point. In the teams' standings Hungarian team M1RA managed to secure the title in Dubai, beating the previous champions Craft-Bamboo Racing by 62 points. The Autodromo Internazionale Enzo e Dino Ferrari, better known as Imola, is a motor racing circuit in the town of Imola, in the Emilia-Romagna region of Italy, east of Bologna. It is one of the few major international circuits to run in an anti-clockwise direction. The circuit is named after Ferrari's late founder, Enzo Ferrari (1898–1988), and his son, Alfredo "Dino" Ferrari (1932–1956). Before Enzo's death, it was called Autodromo Dino Ferrari. The circuit has an FIA Grade One licence. Imola was the venue for the San Marino Grand Prix between 1981 and 2006. The Bahrain International Circuit ( ar, حلبة البحرين الدولية, Ḥalba al-Baḥrayn ad-Dawliyya) is a motorsport venue opened in 2004 and used for drag racing, GP2 Series (now FIA Formula 2), and the annual Formula One Bahrain Grand Prix. 2016 TCR International Series Season
The 2016 TCR International Series was the second season of the TCR International Series. Stefano Comini successfully defended his title, beating his nearest challenger James Nash by 2.5 points. Craft-Bamboo Racing were crowned teams' champions beating Leopard Racing with 73 points margin, while Seat Léon TCR won the models' championship. Teams and drivers Michelin is the official tyre supplier, but Neric Wei, Tang Chi Lun and Edgar Lau used Yokohama tyres at Macau. Calendar The 2016 schedule was announced on 2 December 2015, with twelve events scheduled. Three out of these twelve rounds are to be held supporting Formula One.
