Francis P.Mull Eugene Mullen (born January 2, 1970) is an American vocalist, best known as the former frontman for the New York technical death metal band Suffocation. He is one of the first vocalists to introduce low-pitched growling vocals into the death metal genre. He performed and recorded with the band from 1989 to 2018. Early life Mullen was born on January 2, 1970, and grew up in Long Island, New York. He became a fan of metal music from a young age and was initially attracted to albums like Slayer’s Hell Awaits and Exodus's ''Bonded by Blood'' through their album cover art. Jimmy Mullen (footballer Born 1923)
James Mullen (6 January 1923 – 23 October 1987) was an English international footballer who played as an outside left. Mullen spent his whole career at Wolverhampton Wanderers where he won three English Football League championships and the FA Cup. He also represented the England national team at both the 1950 and 1954 World Cup. Career Mullen joined the Midlanders in June 1937, turned professional on his 17th birthday, and remained with the club until his retirement in May 1960. His league debut came in February 1939, in a 4–1 win over Leeds United. He made 488 appearances in total, scoring 112 goals, helping the club win their only three league titles ( 1953–54, 1957–58 and 1958–59) as well as the FA Cup in 1949. Jim Mullen (born 26 November 1945) is a Scottish, Glasgow-born jazz guitarist with a distinctive style, like Wes Montgomery before him, picking with the thumb rather than a plectrum. Biography Jim Mullen was guitarist with Pete Brown & Piblokto! for two albums in 1970. He then played with Brian Auger's Oblivion Express, appearing on the band's first three albums together with future Average White Band drummer Robbie McIntosh. Mullen then joined Kokomo and later toured with the Average White Band. It was while both musicians were touring the United States with AWB in the mid-1970s that Mullen met tenor saxophone player Dick Morrissey, and throughout the 1980s, he found critical notice as joint leader of the British jazz funk band Morrissey–Mullen. San Francisco Dons Men's Basketball
The San Francisco Dons men's basketball team represents the University of San Francisco in NCAA Division I men's college basketball. The Dons compete in the West Coast Conference, where they have won sixteen regular season championships and one conference tournament championship. The current head coach is Chris Gerlufsen. They play home games at the War Memorial Gymnasium, which also serves as the venue for women's basketball, volleyball, athletic department offices, and athletic training rooms. Some games may be played at the Chase Center. The basketball team claims three national titles: the 1949 NIT under Pete Newell, and the 1955 and 1956 NCAA Division I championships. Jerry Mullen (November 23, 1933 – September, 1979) was an American basketball player. He was an All-American at the University of San Francisco and a second round draft pick of the New York Knicks. Mullen, a 6'5 forward from St. Mary's College High School in Berkeley, California, played college basketball at the University of San Francisco from 1951 to 1955. At USF, Mullen teamed with future Hall of Fame center Bill Russell in the frontcourt to bring home the first of the Dons' consecutive national titles in 1955. Mullen was a key player for the team, averaging 13.6 points and 7.1 rebounds per game and earning AP honorable mention All-America honors that year.
