Mullah
Mullah (; ) is an honorific title for Shia and Sunni Muslim clergy or a Muslim mosque leader. The term is also sometimes used for a person who has higher education in Islamic theology and sharia law. The title has also been used in some Mizrahi and Sephardic Jewish communities to refer to the community's leadership, especially religious leadership. Ali Ahmed Mulla
ʿAlī ibn Abī Ṭālib ( ar, عَلِيّ بْن أَبِي طَالِب; 600 – 661 common era, CE) was the last of four Rashidun, Rightly Guided Caliphs to rule Islam (r. 656 – 661) immediately after the death of Muhammad, and he was the first Shia Imam. The issue of his succession caused a major rift between Muslims and divided them into Shia Islam, Shia and Sunni Islam, Sunni groups. Ali was assassinated in the Grand Mosque of Kufa in 661 by the forces of Mu'awiya I, Mu'awiya, who went on to found the Umayyad Caliphate. Anand Narain Mulla
Anand Narain Mulla (October 1901 – 13 June 1997) was an Indian Urdu poet. He served as a Member of Parliament in both the Lok Sabha and the Rajya Sabha. Life Anand Narain Mulla was born at Lucknow in the North-Western Provinces of British India, in October 1901 and educated at Government Jubilee High School and College there. He won the Sahitya Akademi award in Urdu in 1964 for his poetry, specifically the book ''Meri Hadis-e-Umr-e-Gurezan''. His first collection of poems, ''Ju-yi shir'', published in 1949, was followed by ''Hans cog'' and ''Bamhina bol''. He was also a recipient of the Iqbal Samman, a literary award, when aged 92. Fateen Mulla ( ar, فطين ملا, he, פַטִין מוּלָא, born 15 June 1960) is an Israeli Druze politician. He served as a member of the Knesset for Likud in two spells between 2019 and 2022 and served as Deputy Minister in the Prime Minister's Office. Biography Mulla was born in Yarka and attended school in the village. During his national service in the Israel Defense Forces, he served in the Sword Battalion, receiving an injury that led to him being recognised as a disabled veteran. Paul Mulla (1882–1959) (formerly ''Mollazade Mehmed Ali'') was a Turkish Cretan Catholic prelate naturalized French and a professor of Islamic Studies at the Pontificio Istituto Orientale. Biography Mulla was born in Crete under the Ottoman Empire in a Turkish family. His father İbrahim Pertev was a military doctor and president of the Cretan Muslim community.
