Mukkunnu
Mukkunnu is a village in Pariyaram Panchayath near Taliparamba in the Indian state of Kerala. Overview Mukkunnu is part of Pariyaram panchayath, Taliparamba Taluk. The name ''mukkunnu'' coming from ''moonu kunnu''. The drift of the Kuppam river, with the coconut lagoons and paddy fields, offers a breathtaking landscape. Mukkunnu can be reached either from the Chudala bus stop on National Highway (NH17) or through the North Kupam bus stop. Temples There are two main temples in Mukkunnu. One is the Anakkeel Bhagavathi temple, near Kuppam. The festival of Anakkeel temple is in the month of January every year, several forms of theyyams (ritual dance) are also performed every year. Another temple is the Karode Vishnu temple. This is situated on the western side of Mukkunnu. Daily poojas are performed in this temple. Pariyaram is a Grama Panchayat consisting of two villages viz. Pariyaram census town and Kuttiyeri village. Pariyaram is a small town on National Highway (NH 66) between Taliparamba and Payyanur in Kerala state of India. Thiruvattoor
Thiruvattoor is a village in Pariyaram Grama Panchayath of Kannur district, Kerala, India. Demographics It has an area of 35 square kilometers and a population of 2000 (approx). Kuttiyeri is a village of Pariyaram Grama Panchayath near Taliparamba town in Kannur district in the Indian state of Kerala. Mini villages of Vellavu, Mavichery, Thalora & Panangattoor are parts of Kuttiyeri. Demographics As of 2011 Census, Kuttiyeri had a population of 12,473 with 6,009 males (48.2%) and 6,464 females (51.8%). Kuttiyeri village spreads over an area of with 2,861 families residing in it.
