Mufutau Olatunji Hamzat
Oba Mufutau Olatunji Hamzat (1932–2019) was a Nigerian banker and monarch. He was a member of Lagos State House of Assembly in 1979 and later as the commissioner for transportation from 1979 to 1983. Life Hamzat was born in 1932. He attended Christ School, Ilubirin, Lagos, for his secondary education in 1995. He obtained a banking certificate through extramural lessons from University of Ibadan and was employed by Afribank in 1966. He was a member of Lagos state House of Assembly in 1979 and later appointment as the commissioner for transportation, a position he held till the end of the Second Nigerian Republic. He was an ''oba'' through his maternal lineage. He was married to Kehinde Hamzat. Oba (king)
Oba means ″ruler″ in the Yoruba language, Yoruba and Bini languages of West Africa. Kings in Yorubaland, a region which is in the modern republics of Benin, Nigeria and Togo, make use of it as a pre-nominal honorific. Deputy Governor Of Lagos State
The deputy governor of Lagos State is the second-highest officer in the executive branch of the government of Lagos State, after the governor of Lagos State, and ranks first in line of succession. The deputy governor is directly elected together with the governor to a four-year term of office. Femi Hamzat is the current deputy governor of Lagos State, he assumed office on 29 May 2019. Kadri Obafemi Hamzat (born 19 September 1964) is a Nigerian politician who serves as the Deputy Governor of Lagos State. He was born in Lagos, Nigeria into the family of Late Oba Mufutau Olatunji Hamzat and Late Alhaja Kehinde Hamzat from Iga Egbe, Lagos state. The Lagos State House of Assembly is the state legislature of Lagos State. It is situated along Governor's Avenue in the state capital, Ikeja. The House of Assembly is currently under the All Progressives Congress political party which is the current ruling party in Lagos State.
