Muddy Bay is a bay on the coast of Labrador in the province of Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada. It is a small eastern inlet of Favorite Tickle, a strait connecting Sandwich Bay in the south with the Atlantic Ocean in the north. The bay has a maximum depth between 18 and 20 meters. In the early 19th century, a salmon post was operational in Muddy Bay. Newfoundland and Labrador (; french: Terre-Neuve-et-Labrador; frequently abbreviated as NL) is the easternmost province of Canada, in the country's Atlantic region. A favourite (British English) or favorite (American English) was the intimate companion of a ruler or other important person. In post-classical and early-modern Europe, among other times and places, the term was used of individuals delegated significant political power by a ruler. Muddy Bay is a former settlement on the coast of Labrador in the province of Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada. It was located on the shore of Muddy Bay, a small bay of Favorite Tickle.
