Mozart is an unincorporated community in Stone County, Arkansas, United States. It is in the Ozark Mountains region of the northern part of the state located on Arkansas Highway 263. History The area was settled as an outgrowth of the Timbo and Fox Foxes are small to medium-sized, omnivorous mammals belonging to several genera of the family Canidae. Arkansas Highway 263
Highway 263 (AR 263, Ark. 263, and Hwy. 263) is a north–south List of Arkansas state highways, state highway in the Arkansas Ozark Mountains. A low-volume, two-lane road, Highway 263 connects several rural unincorporated communities to the state highway system. The highway was first established on July 10, 1957, in Stone County, Arkansas, Stone County and extended by the Arkansas State Highway Commission in 1963 and 1965. A second segment was created in Cleburne County, Arkansas, Cleburne County in 1963, and the gap was closed between the two segments in 1994. Timbo is an unincorporated community in Stone County, Arkansas, United States. It is in the Ozark Mountains region of the northern part of the state and is near the town of Mountain View. Timbo is known particularly for its strong tradition of old-time music. Music legend Jimmy Driftwood lived there. In 1959, Alan Lomax recorded music in Timbo (as well as in Heber Springs, Hughes, and Landis Timbo's ZIP code is 72680, although it previously used the ZIP code 72657, which was formerly served by the small post office at nearby Newnata, Arkansas, Newnata (which is no longer in operation).
