Movement 21 ( bg, Движение 21, Dvizhenie 21, D21) is a political party in Bulgaria established in 2011, led by Tatyana Doncheva. History In April 2010, Tatyana Doncheva, a former BSP deputy and member of the party's National Council, presented her new Movement 21 (D21) project, which she plans to set up as a civic association to be established as a non-governmental organization, and within a few months later became a political party. In 2011 it was established as a political party. Tatyana Doncheva
Tatyana Doncheva Toteva ( bg, Татяна Дончева Тотева; born 28 January 1960) is a Bulgarian politician from the Movement 21 political party, of which she is the chairperson. She has been a member of four National Assemblies. - the 38th, 39th, 40th and 45th. Biography Receiving an education in the field of legal studies (graduating from the juridical faculty of Sofia University), Doncheva has worked as a jurist, lawyer and prosecutor in Sofia. She is also a member of the Arbitration Commission of the Bulgarian Rhythmic Gymnastics Federation. In 2005, she was a candidate (backed by BSP and a number of other parties) to become mayor of the capital city, losing out to Boyko Borisov in the second decisive electoral round of the municipal elections. 2023 Bulgarian Parliamentary Election
Parliamentary elections were held in Bulgaria on 2 April 2023 to elect members of the National Assembly. These were initially scheduled to be held before November 2026; however, as no government was approved by the 48th Parliament, Bulgarian President Rumen Radev announced in January 2023 that he would call a snap election. The GERB—SDS placed first with 69 seats, closely followed by PP–DB which won 64. ITN also entered the parliament after having fallen out in the 2022 election. General elections were held in Bulgaria on 14 November 2021 to elect both the President and the National Assembly. 2015 Bulgarian Local Elections
Local elections were held in all municipalities in Bulgaria on 25 October 2015 (first round) and on 1 November 2015 (second round). Voters elected municipal mayors, village mayors and members of municipal councils of 265 municipalities. They were held alongside a referendum on the electoral code. The National Assembly ( bg, Народно събрание, Narodno sabranie) is the unicameral parliament and legislative body of the Republic of Bulgaria. The National Assembly was established in 1879 with the Tarnovo Constitution.
