Mountain View High School (Arkansas)
Mountain View High School (MVHS) is the only public secondary school located in the city of Mountain View, in Stone County, Arkansas. Academics The school is accredited by the Arkansas Department of Education (ADE). The assumed course of study for students is the ADE Smart Core curriculum, which requires students to complete at least 22 units of credit. Students complete regular (core and career focus) courses and exams and may select Advanced Placement (AP) coursework and exams that provide an opportunity for college credit prior to high school graduation. Extracurricular activities The mascot of the school is the Yellowjacket. The school colors are blue and gold. Swimming is an individual or team racing sport that requires the use of one's entire body to move through water. The sport takes place in pools or open water (e.g., in a sea or lake). Softball
