''Mount Righteous'' is the second full-length album by Grapevine, Texas based band Mount Righteous, released on their label ''Righteous Records'' on April 3, 2010. Mount Righteous
Mount Righteous is a band from Grapevine, Texas. They play a vibrant and eclectic indie-pop with a heavy emphasis on varied instrumentation. Their sound has been described as an acoustic-punk marching band and compared to other large collectives including I'm From Barcelona, Architecture In Helsinki, and fellow North Texas-based band The Polyphonic Spree. John Congleton
John Congleton is an American Grammy Award-winning record producer, engineer, mixer, writer and musician. In addition to his production work, Congleton has fronted the alternative rock band the Paper Chase, and writes music for a newer project entitled the Nighty Nite. He has also written music for various other projects, including MTV's '' Jackass'', the Discovery Channel, '' Friday Night Lights'', ''Evil Lives Here'', and several Halloween sound effects/music CDs. In January 2016 it was announced that Congleton and the Nighty Nite would be releasing a full-length studio album on April 1 of that year. Grapevine is a city and suburb of Dallas and Fort Worth located in northeast Tarrant County, Texas, United States, with minor portions extending into Dallas County and Denton County. The city is located in the Mid-Cities suburban region between Dallas and Fort Worth and includes a larger portion of Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport than other cities. The Paper Chase (band)
The Paper Chase (stylized as "the pAper chAse") was an American alternative rock band formed in 1998 by producer/engineer John Congleton in Dallas, Texas, who were signed to Kill Rock Stars and Southern Records. Pegasus News was an online-only hyperlocal news source for the Dallas–Fort Worth region founded by Mike Orren. The site was originally owned by PanLocal Media LLC. It pioneered many news site features that have since become more common, including customized content per-user, programmatic advertising, content curation from partner sites and tight integration of advertising and editorial in a single content management system. In 2007 the website was acquired by Fisher Communications, who said that they planned to use the Pegasus model for their television stations' websites.
