Mount Kholodilnik
Kholodilnik Mountain (russian: гора́ Холоди́льник or ; lit. "Mt. Refrigerator", formerly Mount Muravyov-Amursky), is a mountain in eastern Russia. It is located in Primorsky Krai, and is in the highest peak within the city of Vladivostok at 257.9 m. There are fortifications near the summit, some of which are abandoned, while others are still used by the military. Tourists can visit the mountain to see the buildings and cellars of Fort Count Muravyov-Amursky and Soviet naval battery No. 198 "Kholodilnik" (built 1935), as well as the four remaining 130-mm B-13-3s battery guns. Mount Kholodilnik features many picnic areas on its eastern slope, as well as a pure water spring. The slopes are used for the open championship of the Far East for downhill and cross-country skiing. The Sikhote-Alin (russian: Сихотэ́-Али́нь, , , ) is a mountain range in Primorsky and Khabarovsk Krais, Russia, extending about to the northeast of the Russian Pacific seaport of Vladivostok. The highest summits are Tordoki Yani at above sea level, Ko Mountain () in Khabarovsk Krai and Anik Mountain () in Primorsky Krai. Geography Sikhote-Alin is a temperate zone, though species typical of northern taiga (such as reindeer and the Ussuri brown bear) coexist with the Amur tiger, Amur leopard, and Asiatic black bear. The region holds very few wolves, due to competition with tigers. The longest-lived tree in the region is a millennium-old Japanese yew. Many tributaries of the Amur River lie within the range, including the Gur. The core zone can only be explored in a company of rangers. Vladivostok ( rus, Владивосто́к, a=Владивосток.ogg, p=vɫədʲɪvɐˈstok) is the largest city and the administrative center of Primorsky Krai, Russia. The city is located around the Zolotoy Rog, Golden Horn Bay on the Sea of Japan, covering an area of , with a population of 600,871 residents as of 2021. 130 Mm/50 B13 Pattern 1936
The 130 mm/50 B13 Pattern 1936 was a 50 caliber Soviet naval gun. The gun was used as a standard destroyer weapon during World War II, and it was also used as a coastal gun and railway gun. The gun was produced in three different versions which all had incompatible ammunition and range tables. Mountings for the weapon included single open mounts and twin turrets. Besides the Soviet Union, the gun was used on ships sold or donated to Poland, People's Republic of China, Egypt and Indonesia. Finland captured five guns during Continuation War and used them until the 1990s. Background In 1929 design work began in the Soviet Union for a new 130 mm 45 caliber submarine deck gun that would have the same external ballistics as the older 130 mm/55 B7 Pattern 1913 gun. Mountains Of Primorsky Krai
A mountain is an elevated portion of the Earth's crust, generally with steep sides that show significant exposed bedrock.
