Moskva ( ky, Москва району) is a district of Chüy Region in northern Kyrgyzstan. Its area is , and its resident population was 103,007 in 2021. The administrative seat lies at Belovodskoye. History Moskva District was established as Stalin District on July 23, 1930. In 1961, as part of de-Stalinization, it was renamed into Moskva District, after the city of Moscow. Tömön-Suu ( ky, Төмөн-Суу, , russian: Темен-Суу, Temen-Suu) is a village in the Moskva district of Chüy Region in Kyrgyzstan. It is located 18 km south of Belovodskoye, the administrative center of Moskva district, and was part of the former Karl Marks Kolkhoz. Geography Tömön-Suu is located 18 km south of Belovodskoye, situated among the foothills of the Kyrgyz Ala-Too range. The village is divided into 3 different regions: Artel ( ky, Артел) in the north, Ukraine ( ky, Уркаина) in the center, and Karl Marks ( ky, Карл Маркс) in the south. Tömön-Suu is the administrative center for the Ak-Suu village council, which also includes the villages of Ak-Bashat, Ak-Torpok, Bala-Ayylchy, Keper-Aryk, Murake and Chong-Aryk. De-Stalinization (russian: десталинизация, translit=destalinizatsiya) comprised a series of political reforms in the Soviet Union after the death of long-time leader Joseph Stalin in 1953, and the thaw brought about by ascension of Nikita Khrushchev to power, and his 1956 secret speech On the Cult of Personality and Its Consequences, which denounced Stalin's cult of personality and the Stalinist political system. The Ak-Suu or Aqsu ( ky, Ак-Суу , kk, Ақсу ''Aqsū'', both meaning "white water") is a river running through mostly Moskva District, Chüy Region, Kyrgyzstan and Shu District, Jambyl Region, Kazakhstan. It is long, and has a drainage basin of . It takes its rise on the northern slope of the Kyrgyz Ala-Too, and it runs through the Narzan Valley north into the Chüy Valley and through the city of Belovodskoye, which is named after it. Joseph Stalin
Joseph Vissarionovich Stalin (born Ioseb Besarionis dze Jughashvili; – 5 March 1953) was a Georgian revolutionary and Soviet political leader who led the Soviet Union from 1924 until his death in 1953.
