Eduardo Miguel Sánchez-Quiros (born December 20, 1968) is a Cuban-born American director, known for his work in the horror genre. His most famous credit is for co-directing and writing the 1999 psychological horror film ''The Blair Witch Project'' with Daniel Myrick. Biography Born in 1968, Sánchez moved to Spain with his family at the age of two, before settling in the United States in 1972. A mockumentary (a blend of ''mock'' and ''documentary''), fake documentary or docu-comedy is a type of film or television show depicting fictional events but presented as a documentary. ''The Blair Witch Project'' is a 1999 American supernatural horror film written, directed and edited by Daniel Myrick and Eduardo Sánchez (director), Eduardo Sánchez.
