Mors Subita
Mors Subita (Latin: ) is a melodic death metal band from Finland. It has released four studio albums, including the first Human Waste Compression in 2011. The band's music has been said to be influenced by Carcass, At the Gates, Arch Enemy and others. Biography Establishment Mors Subita was founded in Haukipudas in 1999, when guitarist cousins Mika and Aki Lammassaari and drummer Juha Haapala started playing covers of Pantera, White Zombie, Metallica and Sentenced, among others. In 1999-2000, the band went under the name Zilstrone recorded a demo of their own songs. After that, the band changed their style to a more aggressive one and went through some member changes. The first demo Synopsis was released in 2003 under the name Mors Subita. The band consisted of Mika Lammassaari (guitar), Juha Haapala (drums), Jarno "Jarski" Rankinen (bass), Antti "Hape" Haapsamo (vocals) and Jarkko Kaleva (guitar). Haukipudas
Haukipudas is a town and former municipality of Finland. It is located in the province of Oulu and part of the Northern Ostrobothnia region. Its shore runs along the Gulf of Bothnia, with the river Kiiminkijoki running through the province. Along with Kiiminki, Oulunsalo and Yli-Ii municipalities it was merged with the city of Oulu on 1 January 2013. Nosturi
Nosturi (Finnish language, Finnish for "crane (machine), crane") was a culture and music hall and a nightclub in the Punavuori district of Helsinki, Finland. It was owned by the Association of Live Music (''Elävän musiikin yhdistys'', ELMU). The hall was located at the seaside in Hietalahti, Helsinki, Hietalahti next to the Hietalahti shipyard in an old cargo terminal building. It got its name from the old crane (Hietalahti crane number 6) located right next to it. Many popular live music festivals were held at Nosturi throughout the years. Tuska Open Air Metal Festival, commonly shortened to Tuska ( fi, pain, agony), is a Finnish Heavy metal music, heavy metal rock festival, festival taking place annually in Helsinki. The first Tuska took place in 1998 and the festival has since grown larger every year. The location of the festival has been in Kaisaniemi park in the middle of the city from 2001. However, since 2011, Tuska has taken place at the Suvilahti event field in the Kalasatama neighbourhood of the Sörnäinen Subdivisions of Helsinki, district.
