Morph (comics)
Kevin Sydney is a Character (arts), fictional character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. Created by writer Roy Thomas and artist Werner Roth (comics), Werner Roth, the character first appeared in ''Uncanny X-Men, The X-Men'' #35 (Aug. 1967). Sydney first appeared as Changeling, a Mutant (Marvel Comics), mutant shapeshifting, shapeshifter. He was a short-lived adversary for the X-Men who subsequently joined Professor X and died shortly after, making him the first member of the X-Men to die in action. The character was reintroduced as Morph in the 1990s for ''X-Men: The Animated Series''. An alternate reality version of the character under the codename Morph reappeared in the comics as part of the Exiles (Marvel Comics), Exiles in 2001. Morph (TV Series)
Morph is a British series of clay stop-motion comedy animations, named after the main character, who is a small Plasticine man, who speaks an unintelligible language and lives on a tabletop, his bedroom being a small wooden box. The character was initially seen interacting with Tony Hart, beginning in 1977, on several of his British television programmes, notably ''Take Hart'' and '' Hartbeat''. History Morph was produced for the BBC by Aardman Animations, later famous for the " Sledgehammer" music video, Wallace and Gromit, and Shaun the Sheep. Morph appears mainly in one-minute "shorts" interspersed throughout the ''Take Hart'' show. These are connected to the main show by having Hart deliver a line or two to Morph, who replies in gobbledygook but with meaningful gestures. "Morph" is a song written and recorded by American musical duo Twenty One Pilots from their fifth studio album, ''Trench'' (2018). It was released as a promotional single the same day as the album's release. The song was written by vocalist Tyler Joseph in a studio in his basement. It was produced by Joseph, with co-production from Paul Meany of Mutemath, and recorded at United Recording Studios in Hollywood, California. Even though the song is one of the less conceptual of their concept album, it still reveals more about the surroundings of a world named "Trench" and a city called "DEMA". A key discovery comes in "Morph" with the identity of Nicolas Bourbaki, the titular character of the song "Nico and the Niners" and one of the main antagonists in the story. Morphing is a special effect in motion pictures and animations that changes (or morphs) one image or shape into another through a seamless transition. Traditionally such a depiction would be achieved through dissolving techniques on film. Since the early 1990s, this has been replaced by computer software to create more realistic transitions. A similar method is applied to audio recordings, for example, by changing voices or vocal lines. A morpheme is the smallest meaningful Constituent (linguistics), constituent of a linguistic expression. The field of linguistics, linguistic study dedicated to morphemes is called morphology (linguistics), morphology. Morphs Collaboration
The Morphs collaboration was a coordinated study to determine the morphologies of galaxies in distant clusters and to investigate the evolution of galaxies as a function of environment and epoch. Eleven clusters were examined and a detailed ground-based and space-based study was carried out. The project was begun in 1997 based upon the earlier observations by two groups using data from images derived from the pre-refurbished Hubble Space Telescope.
