Moriz Von Lyncker
Moriz Freiherr von Lyncker (30 January 1853 – 20 January 1932) was a Prussian officer of the German Empire and Chief of the Military Cabinet of Emperor Wilhelm II. He was one of the general adjutants of the Kaiser during World War I with Oskar von Chelius, Hans von Plessen, and Hans von Gontard. Life Lyncker was born in Spandau, Prussia, into a military family, with his father, his father-in-law and two brothers being officers. He took part in the Franco-Prussian War of 1870-71, and two of his sons died in the First World War. His association with the Prussian royal family began when he served as aide-de-camp to Crown Prince Frederick William as a captain. Subsequently Lyncker was appointed military mentor to the adolescent Crown Prince Wilhelm and Prince Eitel Friedrich for three years, until 1898. The German Imperial War Council of 8 December 1912 was an informal conference of some of the highest military leaders of the German Empire. Dietrich Von Hülsen-Haeseler
Dietrich Graf von Hülsen-Haeseler (February 13, 1852 – November 14, 1908) was an infantry general of the German Empire. He attended the War College and was attached to the German General Staff in 1882. In 1889 he was made aide de camp to Kaiser Wilhelm II, whom he had known since boyhood. In 1894, von Hülsen-Haeseler was named military attaché at the German embassy in Vienna. In 1897, now a colonel, he returned to Berlin as commander of a guards regiment. In 1899 he was promoted to major general, made chief of general staff in the Guards Corps, and then given command of the 2nd Guards Infantry Brigade. From May 1901 until his death in November 1908, von Hülsen-Haeseler served as Chief of the German Imperial Military Cabinet, during which time he rose to General of Infantry. Hans Georg Hermann von Plessen (26 November 1841 – 28 January 1929) was a Prussian Colonel General with the rank of Generalfeldmarschall and Canon of Brandenburg. Oskar Philipp von Chelius was a Prussian Generalleutnant who served during World War I as an Adjutant of Emperor Wilhelm II and as a military attaché. He also was a composer. Life Military career Oskar von Chelius was born on 28 July 1859 at Mannheim, which was part of the Grand Duchy of Baden. He was the first son of his father, Ernst Philipp von Chelius, and a grandson of Maximilian Joseph von Chelius. The latter was ennobled into the Badian aristorcracy in 1866. In 1881, Chelius entered the Imperial German Army as a Fahnenjunker in the 22nd (3rd Baden) Dragoon Regiment. In 1882, Chelius was appointed as Sekonde-Lieutenant.
