Morgan Moses
Morgan Moses (born March 3, 1991) is an American football offensive tackle for the Baltimore Ravens of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Virginia and was drafted by the Washington Redskins in the third round of the 2014 NFL Draft. Early life and college Moses attended Meadowbrook High School in North Chesterfield, Virginia where he was a two-time all-state, all-region and all-district selection. After originally committing to Virginia, he played one year of prep football at Fork Union Military Academy in order to become academically qualified to attend the University of Virginia to play for the Virginia Cavaliers. Moses started all 12 games at left tackle during his senior year with the Cavaliers, finishing his career with 43 starts. He earned third-team All-ACC honors. 2020 Cincinnati Bengals Season
The 2020 season was the Cincinnati Bengals' 51st in the National Football League, their 53rd overall, and their second under head coach Zac Taylor. For the first time since 2003, the Bengals had the first overall pick in the NFL Draft, which they used to select LSU quarterback Joe Burrow. They improved upon their 2–14 record from 2019 but were eliminated from playoff contention for the 5th consecutive year after a week 13 loss to the Miami Dolphins. The Bengals doubled their win total from the previous season but still finished with a 4–11–1 record. Cornelius Lucas (born July 18, 1991) is an American football offensive tackle for the Washington Commanders of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Kansas State and signed with the Detroit Lions as an undrafted free agent in 2014. Lucas has also been a member of the Los Angeles Rams, New Orleans Saints, and Chicago Bears. College career Cornelius played college football for Bill Snyder at Kansas State and started at left tackle. 2020 Washington Football Team Season
The 2020 season was the Washington Football Team's 89th in the National Football League and their first under head coach Ron Rivera. The season also marked the first time since their inaugural season as the Braves in 1932 that the team was not known as the Redskins, as they retired the name and logo during the offseason in the wake of the George Floyd protests, after decades of controversy. The team improved upon its 3–13 record in 2019 by going 7–9 and winning the NFC East for the first time since 2015. In doing so they became only the third team in NFL history to win a division with a losing record after the 2010 Seattle Seahawks and 2014 Carolina Panthers, the latter of which Rivera also coached. In gridiron football, a guard (G), otherwise known as an offensive guard (OG), is a player who lines up between the center (American football), center and the offensive tackle, tackles on the offensive line of a football team on the line of scrimmage used primarily for Blocking (American football), blocking. Right guards (RG) is the term for the guards on the right of the offensive line, while left guards (LG) are on the left side. Guards are to the right or left of the center. Brandon Scherff (born December 26, 1991) is an American football guard for the Jacksonville Jaguars of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Iowa and was drafted by the Washington Redskins in the first round of the 2015 NFL Draft, where he played seven seasons and made five Pro Bowls before joining the Jaguars in 2022. Scherff is considered to be among the best guards in the NFL. A Lisfranc injury, also known as Lisfranc fracture, is an injury of the foot in which one or more of the metatarsal bones are displaced from the tarsus. The injury is named after Jacques Lisfranc de St. Martin, a French surgeon and gynecologist who noticed this fracture pattern amongst cavalry men, in 1815, after the War of the Sixth Coalition. The injured reserve list ( IR list) is a designation used in North American professional sports leagues for athletes who suffer injuries and become unable to play. The exact name of the list varies by league; it is known as "injured reserve" in the National Football League (NFL) and National Hockey League (NHL), the "injured list" in the Canadian Football League (CFL), and the injured list (historically known as the "disabled list") in Major League Baseball (MLB).
