Cornelius Lucas
Cornelius Lucas (born July 18, 1991) is an American football offensive tackle for the Washington Commanders of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Kansas State and signed with the Detroit Lions as an undrafted free agent in 2014. Lucas has also been a member of the Los Angeles Rams, New Orleans Saints, and Chicago Bears. College career Cornelius played college football for Bill Snyder at Kansas State and started at left tackle. Professional career Detroit Lions Lucas was signed by the Detroit Lions as an undrafted free agent on May 12, 2014. He played in 35 games and started six for the Lions from 2014 to 2016. As an exclusive-rights free agent, he was tendered by the Lions on March 9, 2017. On September 3, 2017, Lucas was waived by the Lions. NFL Draft
The National Football League Draft, also called the NFL Draft or (officially) the Player Selection Meeting, is an annual event which serves as the league's most common source of player recruitment. Sam Cosmi
Samuel Cosmi (born February 16, 1999) is an American football offensive tackle for the Washington Commanders of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Texas and was drafted by Washington in the second round of the 2021 NFL Draft. Early life Cosmi was born in Humble, Texas, on February 16, 1999. He is a first-generation Romanian American as his parents, Cornel and Rodica, fled communist Romania in the early 1980s. Cosmi played football at Atascocita High School, where he was named to the first-team All-District 21-6A and second team 6A All-State as a senior. Rated a three-star recruit, Cosmi committed to play college football at Houston over offers from TCU and Memphis but flipped his commitment to Texas after Houston coach Tom Herman was hired by the school. In the National Football League, training camp refers to the time before the season commences. During this time, teams sometimes congregate at an outside location, usually a university, to conduct training camp for at least the first few weeks. This is similar to baseball's spring training. Training camp is used in several different ways. New players and coaches use it to acclimate themselves to new teammates and systems. For younger players, it serves as a period of evaluation; for veterans, it is time to return to form. Training camp is divided into several different components. The first is scrimmages. Non-football injury and non-football illness (NFI) are roster designations used in the National Football League (NFL) for players who are unable to practice as a result of conditions unrelated to football, or injuries that did not occur during NFL games or practices. They are similar to the physically unable to perform and injured reserve lists. Active/NFI Players who report to training camp injured or ill due to injuries or illnesses sustained outside of NFL practices or games can be placed on the active/non-football injury or active/non-football illness lists while they recover. A player cannot remain on an NFI list if they participate in a practice or game during the preseason. Geron Christian Sr. (born September 10, 1996) is an American football offensive tackle for the Miami Dolphins of the National Football League (NFL).
