Calvin Alan Byrd (born December 17, 1981), professionally known by his stage name 40 Cal, is an American rapper. He was a member of Harlem-based hip-hop group The Diplomats. 40 Cal made his first appearance on the self-titled theme song, "40 Cal" for the Dipset album '' Diplomatic Immunity 2''. ''Broken Safety 2'' is the second album by American rapper 40 Cal. from Harlem, New York. It's a sequel to his debut album '' Broken Safety''. It was originally scheduled to be released in June 2007 but was instead released on September 11 that same year via Diplomat Records and Koch Records. It features guest spots by the Dipset. The album was originally scheduled to include a limited-edition bonus DVD featuring Dipset footage & live performances, but the release was cancelled by the distributor. Duke Da God
DukeDaGod is an American rapper and record producer. He is a member of The Diplomats and the VP of A&R for Diplomat Records. He was born George Moore in Harlem, but is better known by his stage name. He released his first album ''More Than Music, Vol. 1'' in summer of 2005 under Diplomats/Koch Records. Musical career Moore got involved with the music industry when he helped form the hip-hop group Children of the Corn, composed of his childhood friends Cam'ron, Mase, Big L, and Bloodshed. Moore served as the road manager until Bloodshed's untimely death and the group disbanded. Moore had a chance to be an A&R at Roc-A-Fella Records through Dame Dash when the label first started, but Moore declined the position and later hooked up with Cam'ron once again, where he became Diplomat Records' A&R, overseeing all of the Diplomat artists' recording projects. Cookin Soul is a Spanish producer-DJs duo known separately as Big Size and Zock. Producing work since around 2005, the two have developed a strong presence in the mixtape circuit in the US, according to ''El País''. Critical response ''The Guardian'' gave a project they did a mixed review, indicating that "some of the mash-ups work magnificently...but several needed more time spent on them" than the single night allocated to it by the trio.
