Montezum
Montezum is a wooden roller coaster located in Hopi Hari theme park, in São Paulo, Brazil. The ride is able to exceed and runs through the ride in fifty-eight seconds. It is the only wooden roller coaster operating in South America. This roller coaster was built in 18 months. More than 1500 people of the RCCA (Roller Coaster Corporation of America) worked to build Montezum. It was finished in 6 months before the park opening in November, 1999. Hopi Hari
Hopi Hari is a Brazilian theme park located at Km 72 of Bandeirantes Highway, Vinhedo, in the state of São Paulo. It is located 30 km away from Campinas and 72 km away from São Paulo. With 0.76 km2, it is considered the second largest amusement park in Brazil and it is a part of the tourist complex SerrAzul Full Life. Roller Coaster Corporation of America (RCCA) was an amusement ride manufacturer based in the United States. The company's first major project was the Rattler at Six Flags Fiesta Texas in 1992, while their most famous coaster was the Son of Beast at Kings Island, the world's tallest and second looping wooden coaster when it opened in 2000. Philadelphia Toboggan Coasters (PTC) is one of the oldest existing roller coaster manufacturing companies in the world. Based in Hatfield, Pennsylvania, it was established in 1904 by Henry Auchey and Chester Albright under the name Philadelphia Toboggan Company. The company manufactured carousels, wooden roller coaster, wooden roller coasters, toboggans (roller coaster cars) and later, roller coaster trains.
