Montenegrin Guitar Duo
The Montenegrin Guitar Duo is a Montenegrin duo formed in 2005. It is composed of classical guitarists Goran Krivokapić and Danijel Cerović. In 2013 their debut CD was published by the Montenegrin Music Centre; the recording features works by Domeniconi, Piazzolla and Bogdanovic. Goran Krivokapić
Goran Krivokapić ( cnr, Горан Кривокапић; born 7 May 1979) is a Montenegrin classical guitarist. Early years and education Due to the 1979 Montenegro earthquake, Krivokapić was born in Belgrade, SR Serbia, SFR Yugoslavia. He started his music education at the age of eight with Mićo Poznanović at the Music School of Herceg Novi in Montenegro. When he was nine he began to perform publicly, and soon built a reputation which led to the montenegrin poet and television personalitDragan Radulovićto produce a documentary about him in 1993. In 1996 he furthered his studies at the Faculty of Music in Belgrade in the class of Srdjan Tošić, graduating in 2000. Danijel Cerović
Danijel Cerović (Montenegrin Cyrillic: Данијел Церовић), born in 1979 in Nikšić, is a Montenegrin classical guitarist. He lectures in guitar and chamber music at the Music Academy in Cetinje, University of Montenegro and he is a guest lecturer at the Sarajevo Music Academy. Biography Cerović graduated at the Faculty of Music Arts in Belgrade in the class of Professor Vera Ogrizović, and completed his master studies in guitar at the ''Conservatorium Maastricht'' in the class of Professor Carlo Marchione. His solo repertoire includes the transcriptions of renaissance and baroque music and original compositions dating from the nineteenth and twentieth centuries, with a special emphasis on contemporary music originally written for guitar and ensembles with guitar. English Suites (Bach)
The ''English Suites'', BWV 806–811, are a set of six suites written by the German composer Johann Sebastian Bach for harpsichord (or clavichord) and generally thought to be the earliest of his 19 suites for keyboard (discounting several less well-known earlier suites), the others being the six French Suites (BWV 812–817), the six Partitas (BWV 825-830) and the Overture in the French style (BWV 831). They probably date from around 1713 or 1714. History These six suites for keyboard are thought to be the earliest set that Bach composed aside from several miscellaneous suites written when he was much younger. Naxos Records Artists
Naxos (; el, Νάξος, ) is a Greek island and the largest of the Cyclades. It was the centre of archaic Cycladic culture. The island is famous as a source of emery, a rock rich in corundum, which until modern times was one of the best abrasives available.
