Danijel Cerović
Danijel Cerović (Montenegrin Cyrillic: Данијел Церовић), born in 1979 in Nikšić, is a Montenegrin classical guitarist. He lectures in guitar and chamber music at the Music Academy in Cetinje, University of Montenegro and he is a guest lecturer at the Sarajevo Music Academy. Biography Cerović graduated at the Faculty of Music Arts in Belgrade in the class of Professor Vera Ogrizović, and completed his master studies in guitar at the ''Conservatorium Maastricht'' in the class of Professor Carlo Marchione. His solo repertoire includes the transcriptions of renaissance and baroque music and original compositions dating from the nineteenth and twentieth centuries, with a special emphasis on contemporary music originally written for guitar and ensembles with guitar. Nikšić
Nikšić ( cnr, Никшић, italic=no, sr-cyrl, Никшић, italic=no; ), is the second largest city in Montenegro, with a total population of 56,970 located in the west of the country, in the centre of the spacious Nikšić field at the foot of Trebjesa Hill. It is the center of Nikšić Municipality with population of 72,443 according to 2011 census, which is the largest municipality by area and second most inhabited after Podgorica. An academy (Attic Greek: Ἀκαδήμεια; Koine Greek Ἀκαδημία) is an institution of secondary or tertiary higher learning (and generally also research or honorary membership). Goran Krivokapić ( cnr, Горан Кривокапић; born 7 May 1979) is a Montenegrin classical guitarist. Early years and education Due to the 1979 Montenegro earthquake, Krivokapić was born in Belgrade, SR Serbia, SFR Yugoslavia. He started his music education at the age of eight with Mićo Poznanović at the Music School of Herceg Novi in Montenegro. When he was nine he began to perform publicly, and soon built a reputation which led to the montenegrin poet and television personalitDragan Radulovićto produce a documentary about him in 1993. In 1996 he furthered his studies at the Faculty of Music in Belgrade in the class of Srdjan Tošić, graduating in 2000. Sylvius Leopold Weiss
Sylvius Leopold Weiss (12 October 168716 October 1750) was a German composer and lutenist. Born in Grottkau near Breslau, the son of Johann Jacob Weiss, also a lutenist, he served at courts in Breslau, Rome, and Dresden, where he died. Until recently, he was thought to have been born in 1686, but recent evidence suggests that he was in fact born the following year. Weiss was one of the most important and most prolific composers of lute music in history and one of the best-known and most technically accomplished lutenists of his day. He was a teacher to Philip Hyacinth, 4th Prince Lobkowicz, and the prince's second wife Anna Wilhelmina Althan. In later life, Weiss became a friend of Wilhelm Friedemann Bach and met J.S. Bach through him.
