Montana Sky (band)
Montana Sky is a Canadian country music group. Their 1997 single "Underneath the Moon" reached the Top 20 of the ''RPM Revolutions per minute (abbreviated rpm, RPM, rev/min, r/min, or with the notation min−1) is a unit of rotational speed or rotational frequency for rotating machines. After disbanding for several years, founding members Larry MacDonald, Keith Kirkpatrick and Tim Lee reunited in 2009 with new members Darren Bailey and Rick Wigle. The band returned to the studio in late 2011 to begin recording the album "Full Circle," the first with new members Darren Bailey and Rick Wigle. "Full Circle" was released in January 2013 and is available on iTunes. Larry MacDonald is the son of Boyd and Shirley MacDonald who named "Stompin Tom Connors." Lindsay, Ontario
Lindsay is a community of 22 367 people (2021 Canadian Census, 2021 census) on the Scugog River in the Kawartha Lakes (Ontario), Kawartha Lakes region of south-eastern Ontario, Canada. It is approximately west of Peterborough, Ontario, Peterborough. It is the seat of the Kawartha Lakes, City of Kawartha Lakes (formerly Victoria County, Ontario, Victoria County), and the hub for business and commerce in the region. History The Township of Ops was surveyed in 1825 by Colonel Duncan McDonell, and Lots 20 and 21 in the 5th Concession were reserved for a town site. The same year settlers began to come to the region, and by 1827, the Purdys, an American family, built a dam on the Scugog River at the site of present-day Lindsay. The following year they built a sawmill, and in 1830, a grist mill was constructed. A small village grew up around the mills, and it was known as Purdy's Mills. RPM (magazine)
''RPM'' ( and later ) was a Canadian music-industry publication that featured song and album charts for Canada. The publication was founded by Walt Grealis in February 1964, supported through its existence by record label owner Stan Klees. ''RPM'' ceased publication in November 2000. ''RPM'' stood for "Records, Promotion, Music". The magazine's title varied over the years, including ''RPM Weekly'' and ''RPM Magazine''. Canadian music charts ''RPM'' maintained several format charts, including Top Singles (all genres), Adult Contemporary, Dance, Urban, Rock/Alternative and Country Tracks (or Top Country Tracks) for country music. On 21 March 1966, ''RPM'' expanded its Top Singles chart from 40 positions to 100. ''Kawartha Lakes This Week'' is a weekly, community newspaper in Lindsay, Ontario, Canada, that was established in 1977 under the title ''Lindsay This Week''. It is one of three newspapers in the Kawartha Division of Metroland Publishing, a company that owns newspapers across Ontario. News content is updated on its site, www.MyKawartha.com, several times a week with video, blogs, polls and stories from its sister papers in the region. ''Kawartha Lakes This Week'' has a circulation of 30,300, including papers delivered to boxes, and employs 22 people. The publisher is Peter Bishop, the editor-in-chief is Lois Tuffin and the managing editor is Marcus Tully. Tully started with the paper as a reporter in 2001.
