Montalbano Elicona ( Sicilian: ''Muntarbanu'') is a ''comune'' (municipality) in the Metropolitan City of Messina in the Italian region Sicily, located about east of Palermo and about southwest of Messina on the Nebrodi mountains at the border with the Peloritani range. It is mainly known for the castle built in 1233 by the Emperor Frederick II, the medieval architecture of its streets, the megaliths of Argimusco, and the natural wood of Malabotta. Santa Domenica Vittoria ( Sicilian: ''Santa Dumìnica'') is a town and ''comune'' in the Metropolitan City of Messina, Sicily, southern Italy.
